I cannot say the same for how well it works because I fear to use it on a regular basis. After spending another year or so hiding it away in disgust, I took it out, forced it in by constant wiggling, and was able to use it. The shelf-like object was created a little too big so I could not plug the drive into my laptop's USB port(or my sister's laptop's USB port) without fearing to damage them. In short, I do not recommend this product for its poor manufacturing quality. When I first bought this, I made the mistake of not trying it out right away. When I did so about a year later, I found out how shoddy the work was.If you look in the section that is entered into the USB drive, there is a hole section, and there is the little shelf-like object. I am extremely reluctant to use it in fear of damaging the USB ports; however, the fact that once in, it works fine is the reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.
If anyone knows how to fix this problem, I'd appreciate it. and then nothing. it powers on - the light turns green. I can't drag any files into it on either computer. I used this twice, successfully, transferring MP3s between my Mac G4 and my newer iMac. Then the clip just stopped recognizing files. it's like it's blocking any files from being dragged onto it.
Plus, this one came with two different colored caps to make it somewhat stylish. I had originally bought the same product at Best Buy for about double the price, then searched online and found everything was much cheaper. Haven't had any problems yet.
This was a purchase I am glad I made, it came really quick and is great for the price. Thanks Amazon.com
Who the heck knew that 512 MB could hold so much space. But the positives DEFINITELY outweigh the negatives.
